Discovered by folk icon Judy Collins in 2005 and signed to Collins' record label, Speace has built a remarkable career as a songwriter, performer, and storyteller. Across nine critically acclaimed albums, her songs have earned praise for their emotional honesty, literary depth, and ability to find the extraordinary within everyday life.
Her 2024 album The American Dream reached #1 on the Folk Alliance International Radio Charts for both album and song, adding to a career that has included the Americana Music Association UK's International Song of the Year award for “Me and the Ghost of Charlemagne.”
Speace has appeared at some of the world's most respected music festivals, including Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival, Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, and Philadelphia Folk Festival.
