Amy Keefer of Thornwood Farms has spent her lifetime breeding, training and developing horses and riders for the hunter ring. She has extensive background with Thoroughbreds, breeding them for racing and conformation hunters along with retraining OTTBs for the hunter ring. She has judged unrated shows for 30 years and received her USEF Hunter, Hunter Breeding and Equitation cards in 2009. Amy has also been the Slippery Rock University Equestrian Club Coach for the English club since 1998. Amy enjoys working with all breeds of horses along with all levels of riders. Her focus is classical horsemanship where she teaches horse and rider correct flatwork basics with an emphasis on form to function teaching the forward riding seat. Amy’s riders and horses have competed successfully in the hunter ring due to her classical horsemanship knowledge. Clinic fee $100
