CB Equestrian- Courtney Boros With over 25 years of experience in riding, showing, and training horses across all levels, from baby greens to 1.40m jumpers, Courtney Boros is a seasoned equestrian with a deep commitment to both horse and rider development. Her competitive journey has taken her across the United States, showing at many different venues, including the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), Desert International Horse Park, World Equestrian Center (WEC) Ohio, Kentucky Horse Park, Saugerties, NY, and Culpeper, VA. Courtney’s training philosophy has been shaped by the opportunity to learn from and work
alongside many top Grand Prix riders. She has trained with and gained valuable insights from Todd Minikus, Kevin Babington, Bernie Traurig, Amanda Fusscas Strain, Pato Muente, Randy
Cole, and Edgar Pagan. These experiences have helped Courtney develop a keen understanding of not only the “how” of training, but also the “why”. She emphasizes the importance of trust
and communication, recognizing these as essential elements for forming successful partnerships in and out of the arena.
Courtney believes in prioritizing the well-being of the horse and is committed not only to advancing riders' skills but emphasizing the importance of proper horsemanship in all aspects of
training and competition. Courtney is dedicated to fostering a balanced, effective, and positive training environment for all
involved.
Clinic Focus:
I will be focusing on Body awareness for both horse and rider. Working on communication, balance, rhythm, pace and impulsion. Learning to feel and understand where the rider and their horse are in relation to each other, how their movements align, and how subtle adjustments can influence the performance of both horse and rider. Will work on a variety of exercises such a flat work, pole work, gymnastics and putting a course
together.
