Bring the family and explore the power of the press throughout our local history with hands-on activities at the museum! Learn how a printing press operates and make prints of your own, uncover creative uses of print media in the MOHAI collection, and use your voice to inspire change in your community.

- Learn to make a print with Partners in Print, a local arts organization specializing in using letterpress printing to amplify new voices!
- Zine making with Vivian Li, Library of Congress Innovator in Residence and 2023 SDOT Fremont Bridge Artist in Residence.
- MOHAI Collection table-talk with staff while browsing local examples of political printed materials.
- At 3pm, catch the play “The Dispatch” about a 1776 print shop’s decision to print the Declaration of Independence.
