AMD Disability Summit

Get ready for an inspiring day at the AMD Disability Summit, co-sponsored by the Disability Committee of the Louisana Annual Conference, where passion meets action! This is your chance to connect with amazing people, learn new ideas, and support lay and clergy with disabilities. The $25 fee includes the membership fee. Lunch is sponsored by the Disability Committee of the Louisiana Annual Conference. The event is in person with an option to join by Zoom for those unable to come to the church, so bring your energy and enthusiasm. This event is for United Methodists with AND without disabilities who wish to learn more about (1) Disability Justice, (2) Trauma-informed Care & Disabilities, and (3) Neurodiversity and Sensitizing the Church. Clergy with disabilities and lay people with disabilities are welcomed. Advocates, allies, and others are also welcomed so we can all partner together.
