Tijdens deze bijeenkomst duik je dieper in de wereld van theaterproductie met een workshop door theatermaker Anna Verkouteren Jansen.
Anna Verkouteren Jansen is interdisciplinair regisseur, theatermaker, schrijver en stemacteur. Ze studeerde in 2017 af aan de Regieopleiding van Toneelacademie Maastricht en was huismaker bij o.a. Frascati Producties, Monty Kultuurfaktorij en Bloos / PLAN Brabant. Anna’s werk gaat over binnenwerelden: verbeelding, vervreemding en escapisme. Ze houdt van kleine mensen met grote dromen. Ze maakt hallucinante portretten van deze loners en underdogs, waarbij ze verschillende lagen van het bewustzijn verkent.
Anna deelt haar ervaring en inzichten over de eerste stappen in het veld: alles wat komt kijken bij het produceren van een theatervoorstelling, van concept tot financiering en uitvoering. Daarnaast leer je hoe je je voorstelling kunt laten programmeren in theaters en op festivals, zodat je werk een breder publiek bereikt. Naast de workshop is er ruimte om kennis te maken met andere theatermakers en te netwerken tijdens een informele borrel.

During this session, you will dive deeper into the world of theatre production through a workshop led by theatre maker Anna Verkouteren Jansen.
Anna Verkouteren Jansen is an interdisciplinary director, theatre maker, writer, and voice actor. She graduated from the Directing programme at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2017 and has held residencies with organisations including Frascati Producties, Monty Kultuurfaktorij, and Bloos / PLAN Brabant. Anna’s work focuses on inner worlds: exploring imagination, alienation, and escapism. She has a fondness for small people with big dreams. She creates vivid, almost hallucinatory portraits of these loners and underdogs, delving into various layers of consciousness.
Anna will share her experience and insights regarding the initial steps in the field: everything involved in producing a theatre performance, from the initial concept to securing funding and final execution. You will also learn how to get your work programmed in theatres and at festivals, helping it reach a wider audience. In addition to the workshop, there will be an opportunity to meet other theatre makers and network during an informal drinks reception.
