The retreat industry sells weekends. I’ve run them, and I’ve watched what happens the next Wednesday.
Somebody flies home lit up. By midweek the job has them back, and the temper is back, and the thing they cracked open on the Sunday has closed over again. Then they blame themselves for it not sticking.
It was never going to stick. Nothing you learn away from your life survives contact with your life. You have to do it in the week, not instead of it.
So Always Human is five Saturdays, one a week, from 3 October. You come, you go home, you live your ordinary Tuesday, and you come back. 🌲
Breathwork, cold water, fire, food, weather, and a group of people who have all agreed to stop performing for a day at a time. 🔥
You will not come out of it a different person. You’ll come out the same one, carrying less of it, more human, more connected, more you than you have ever been.
