Blow away Christmas cobwebs and start the New Year with a light-hearted plant-hunting morning of serious intent around the streets of Alton.
Join us as we take part for the 4th year running in the Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland's New Year Plant Hunt. Individuals and groups all over Britain and Ireland record plants found flowering in the wild over four days at New Year. The data collected informs the BSBI's analysis of how climate change is affecting our wild plants.
It's great fun and you don't need to be knowledgeable about plants. Bring a hand lens if you have one, but if you don't we'll have some to lend.
