Welcome again poets, scribes, truthseekers and warriors of wit, lyricists and pathological liars to Alternator Poetrys mic open for the recited word! A night of sharing thoughts and feelings in the formless to formful art of poetry in a warm and welcoming space that encourages all original works. This months Alternator will feature the work of Alasdair Carter performed by he himself, live and in the flesh.Alasdair is a winner of the fabled Nimbin Performance Poetry Cup, KV Folk Festival Reciter of the Year, The Bankstown Poetry Grand Slam and the Bread & Butter Slampionship. His performances draw from years of experience living as a moustached man, a medical nurse, an avid bird watcher and an orchestral percussionist. Alasdair’s stories will administer analgesia and euphoria to heal our heart-ache and bandage this suffering with beauty
Certainly a poet not to be missed.
