Alpaca Gala Day at BobCat Alpacas - 30 August 2026
About this Event
We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our fun day once again with the Alpacas in aid of Marie Curie Hospice Edinburgh. You will be able to feed the Alpacas, have a meet and greet with them in their homestead and even work with some of their wool at our Spinning Workshop. There will also be children's activities, games, live music, a tombola, various craft stalls and refreshments so do bring lots of pennies to raise money for a jolly good cause.
So book your slot, pack your wellies and brolly just in case, and come and join us for a fabulous wholesome day.
Please note (and sorry for the rather long list!):
- please bring lots of pennies and folding money in particular to support Marie Curie (a card reader will be available too)
- to enable us to manage traffic and numbers, you must book your slot and arrive within your allocated time. You are welcome (and we hope you do) to then stay for as long as you wish
- field parking is available so please do not park in the lane or on the bridge as this leads to congestion
- do come by bus if possible: no 10 to Bonaly, no 16 to Colinton
- the ground is a bit uneven and could be soft so bear this in mind if you are in a wheelchair or a bit wobbly on your feet
- please leave your woof at home (guide dogs permitted)
- hand sanitizer is available on site but do bring your pocket-sized skoosh too
- porto-toilets available
- free for children 3 and under
