Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, reading stopped feeling like a reward and started feeling like one more thing on the list. The books are still there — on the nightstand, on the shelf, in the app you downloaded and forgot about — but the time and the motivation are harder to come by.

So we built AllReads.

AllReads is a free summer reading program for adults in Northern Colorado, inspired by the Book It spirit and built for grown-up life. The premise is exactly as simple as you remember: sign up, read your books, earn your reward. Except this time the reward is a pool party, the books are whatever you want, and nobody is going to quiz you at the end.

Here's how it works. Sign up for free. Read 3 books between May 21st and August 13th. Log them on your bookmark. Show up to our end-of-summer pool party celebration(without the kids). That's the whole thing.

Any book counts. The beach read you've been saving. The thriller your sister won't stop talking about. The self-help book you've started four times. The fantasy series you're embarrassed to admit you love. All of it counts. We built this for people who used to be readers and want to be again — no pressure, no judgment, just the quiet pleasure of getting lost in a good book this summer.
