There is no better way to experience the true essence of a region than to take in all the local food and drink while enjoying its unique sights and sounds. Since 2013, GetKnit is proud to join forces with the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild for another year to help you savor flavors from all over the Land of 10,000 Beers (ahem, Lakes) with our exclusive All Pints North Summer Brew Fest GetKnit Experience.
Don’t let the chore of having to find your own transportation and make hotel reservations in busy Duluth keep you from pursuing the finest brews and bites in the Midwest! Instead, let us do the ‘heavy’ lifting by providing a ride north, an exclusive pre-festival tour and tasting, lunch at a local brewery, line-skipping access at the beer fest, and other exclusive offerings found only in this package from GetKnit.
Our day will begin in Roseville, where your GetKnit Gurus will anxiously await your arrival and take care of all of the details of your day. Once everyone has arrived, we will sit back and relax while our luxury coach bus carries us to Lake Superior’s North Shore.
Upon arriving in Duluth, we will be ushered into our exclusive brewery-floor “dining room” at Bent Paddle Brewing Company where we will enjoy a pre-fest luncheon catered by one of Duluth’s premier eateries – Northern Waters Smokehaus, who have specialized in smoked fish, handcrafted smoked meats, and unique deli sandwiches since 2001. Lunch will feature a buffet featuring an array of some of their delectable sandwiches featuring their Cajun Finn: Haus-smoked Cajun salmon, green onion cream cheese, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini & lettuce on stirato; Cold Turkey: Haus-smoked sage maple turkey breast (free-range and MN raised), lettuce, Swiss & our very special craisen walnut mayo. Served on stirato; and the Pastrami Mommy: smoked pastrami, pepperoncini, provolone, lettuce, mustard & mayo on rye. All accompanied by salad, potato chips and a selection of cookies from Duluth’s very own Positively 3rd Street Bakery. Wash down your scrumptious lunch with bottomless tastings of Bent Paddle brew. A private tour of their state-of-the-art facility and samples of each of their ales and lagers will round out our time at Bent Paddle.
A short jaunt across town will deliver us to the main attraction of the day: the 11th Annual All Pints North Summer Brew Fest at Bayfront Festival Park. The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild has invited us to jump to the front of the lines with no-wait access to their annual event featuring unlimited tastings from more than 100+ breweries and brewpubs from across Minnesota and the USA. As if the beer wasn’t enough to satisfy your appetite for local flavors, you will also have access to the wide array of on-site food trucks to pair with these fine beverages.
After a full day of tasting the best brews that our northern neighbors have to offer, we will hop aboard our bus and savor a post-festival pizza slice from Minnesota’s own Pizza Lucé as we travel safely home to our beloved Twin Cities.
