All-in Audit: Attenborough Arts Centre Signage

Are you passionate about making Leicester more accessible for everyone? We invite you to join All In Leicester as we work to improve accessibility across the city’s cultural venues. This month, we’ll be visiting Attenborough Arts Centre to consult on their new internal signage – a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the experiences of those who visit this creative space.

Our team will explore and assess ways to enhance the centre's communication and signage, and we need your input! If you have access needs, your insights are especially valuable as we strive to make our audits as representative as possible. We welcome people from all backgrounds to contribute to the discussion and help improve access to cultural engagement in Leicester.

This is a chance to get behind the scenes, share ideas, and celebrate good accessibility practices. Plus, we’ll have BSL interpreters on hand, and if transport is a barrier, we can help cover costs (when arranged in advance).

The arts centre prides itself on being accessible and inclusive. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs. There is an induction loop hearing system available in all rooms and a Changing Places facility. At the front of the building there are four blue badge parking bays which can be booked in advance.
