Join the wild and wacky Tanky Smith, Leicester’s renowned policeman, inspector, and private detective, on an intriguing journey. Step into his shadowy Victorian world, brimming with clever disguises and hidden secrets of Leicester.
Theatre on the GO is based on historical facts and stories of Tanky Smith.

4pm DRESS UP - Tours are extra special!
Join our theatrical escapades and be a part of the show by dressing up. Wear a top hat, carry a pocket watch, don a shawl, put on a waistcoat, wear a bonnet, bring a parasol, or sport a cravat—Victorian outfits and accessories are encouraged for an added layer of fun.
All are welcome to enhance the experience with a touch of Victorian flair!

The experience will cover the distance from 121A London Rd, Leicester LE2 0QT (start of the tour) to Leicester Train Station, Town Hall Fountain, and conclude at The Guildhall Museum (end of the tour).
The walking theatre, including stops, will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
