YAIMA RETURN HOME TO ALL ABOUT LOVE
Join us for a beautiful day of music, ceremony and heartfelt connection in the sacred heart of Glastonbury.
It gives me enormous pleasure to welcome YAIMA back to All About Love and, as always, there's a bit of a story behind this one! Please join me for a few mins and read on as - if you're coming - then it matters that you understand the journey that YAIMA and All About Love have been on , as that's what makes the All About Love family different. Authentic connection.
Back in 2022, we brought Pepper and Mas all the way from the US to play their very first UK show, and that night went down in history alongside the countless other UK debuts we co-created.
Back then, very few people knew YAIMA's music. I just knew I loved their message and sound, so I got in touch. We hit it off immediately and have remained close ever since. However, none of us knew where that first little leap of faith would take them, or us.
Since then, YAIMA's music has travelled the world, touching countless hearts and becoming the soundtrack to a beautiful global community. As many of you will know, we've brought them back to the UK several times and co-created some groundbreaking events, including their intensely beautiful performance at Heaven for our magical Synchronicity party.
Recently, though, it wasn't us inviting YAIMA but Pepper and Mas specifically asking me to host them again, this time for our 'Small About Love' gathering in Glastonbury.
Isn't it wonderful when one of those beautiful circles in life quietly completes itself, offering regeneration, reconnection, gratitude and respect to everyone who made the meeting possible in the first place. It's payback. Good Karma. And perhaps this is also why this gathering feels so different.
YAIMA make the kind of music that is difficult to put neatly into a box. Masaru's organic rhythms and deep electronic soundscapes meeting Pepper's extraordinary, ethereal voice creates something so special that their musical journeys move seamlessly from intimate and tender to expansive and completely cosmic.
For me though, the genuine magic of YAIMA has never simply been about their music. It's what happens to me when I watch other people hear it together. That is what drives me.
For a cupla hours we step out of time into a world between worlds. We slow down. We breathe deeper. We dance wildly. We open our hearts and minds. We dissolve differences. And perhaps most importantly, just for a little while, we remember that there is so much more to being alive than the noise and madness of everyday life.
A DAY OF MUSICAL JOURNEYS & SOUL CONNECTION
And because this is All About Love, YAIMA won't be doing it alone. I'm absolutely delighted to bring together some very dear friends and beautiful song carriers for this special day:
Our supporting friends all bring different voices, different musical languages, but they share the same belief in the power of music, connection, love, community and are all right by our side in wanting to manifest something much deeper than just 'a simple gig'.
From the intimate acoustic beauty of Carrie and Aimee to the expansive sound and deep basslines of YAIMA, we're going to create a day where you can bring your smiles, your grief, whatever you need to release. Come as you are. It's all welcome here...
CARRIE TREE WITH KALYAN MITTO
Carrie is one of those people whose music has become woven into the fabric of the All About Love family, and we go all the way back. She is my Cancerian soul sister, and we have been lovingly entangled in each other's journeys for over a decade now.
Carrie's songs carry something wonderfully human: tenderness, vulnerability, joy, prayer, nature and that uniquely beautiful ache she has for being fully alive.
For this gathering, she will be joined by the extraordinary cellist Kalyan Mitto, whose musicianship takes Carrie's already super-powerful songs somewhere very special. I'm genuinely thrilled to have them with us.
AIMEE LEA FRANCES
Singer-songwriter, Sound Doula and founder of The Great Goddess Gathering, Aimee Lea Frances brings music, sacred song and a deep devotion to connection and belonging. Her music is intimate and heartfelt, weaving voice, vulnerability and prayer into songs that invite us back towards ourselves, each other and the Earth.
Through The Great Goddess Gathering, Aimee has spent years creating spaces where women can come together through music, ceremony, creativity and community. We're very happy to welcome her into the All About Love family.
After everything we've been through, and after the extraordinary gathering we shared recently, it feels incredibly special to be able to keep the fire burning and bring you all back together again as the light of the Autumn starts to fade.
Whether you've been with us for years, discovered us somewhere along the way, or have absolutely no idea what All About Love is yet… Come and join us.
Find the Others...
Because YAIMA are coming home - and we'd love to have you with us.
We love you all so much...
