The Immortal hour.. written by Rutland Boughton and first performed in the Assembly Rooms on August 26th 1914.
As a fundraising event to buy the Assembly Rooms a new stage.. please come and listen to the amazing double album of the Immortal Hour featuring the English Chamber orchestra.
The album will be played through a top quality soundsystem and record player. Bring a cushion and get yourself comfy. Entry by donation.. the bar will be open.

The night will now be in two parts.. the first part will be the English Chamber Orchestra vinyl double LP.. the second part will be Greg Dinunzi, who produced the wonderful interpretation of the Immortal Hour which the Assembly Rooms hosted around 18 months ago.
Greg will play the recording of his performance..
