Come join us for an evening of information gathering and learning at Alisa's Wish Child Advocacy Centre located in the same building as Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows CCRR.

Alisa's Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Centre provides centralized child/youth friendly wrap around service for children and youth aged 18 years and younger who are victims of abuse and/or witness to violence, and their non-offending family members.

Jodi Mason is an Advocate with Alisa’s Wish Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, supporting children and youth who have experienced or witnessed violence and abuse. In her role, Jodi provides these children, youth and their families with advocacy, support and connection to relevant resources and services. Jodi has more than 30 years of experience in the sector, including 3 decades with another community-based agency where she held various roles, ultimately managing numerous teams at the agency. Jodi’s extensive experience in this sector enables her to provide a high level of compassion and support to families at a time when they need it most.

Khadija Collier is a Prevention and Support Worker with Alisa’s Wish Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology and has experience supporting individuals impacted by developmental disabilities, mental health concerns, substance use, and abuse. At Alisa’s Wish, Khadija facilitates a Youth Advisory Committee focused on child abuse prevention, education, and awareness, empowering young people to share their voices and perspectives. She also facilitates a girls’ group for survivors of sexual assault, providing a supportive, trauma-informed space for connection, skill-building, and healing.
