GLENEAGLE TALONS - Class of 2006 20th Anniversary
Hey '06 Talons!
It's been a wild 20 years since we left Gleneagle Secondary and threw our black hats up in the air.
20 years come and go quickly, but 2006 sure feels like it was only 15 years ago!
2010 was only 10 years ago, right? RIGHT? (Unfortunately, closer to 20 years than 10 now)
We only get old when we allow ourselves to feel old.
We are still much younger than the Gen X heading into their monthly retirement financial planning or annual colonoscopy exams!
The 10th Anniversary event was great, and 10 years have come and passed.
We carry this torch on to commemorate the great work done by the 2016 team.
Our goal is that this spirit carries on and someone takes on the mantle for the 30th anniversary organization. (even 25th!)
We look forward to seeing you to catch up on life and laugh about the good old days.
Let's all say hi and have a drink together for a few hours until we depart back to our own worlds and responsibilities. May we all have good stories to share.
Luck and success are meaningless without those who can cherish them together.
Let's keep in touch and aim for a 25th Anniversary for those who could not make it then, eventually the 30th! Then the 40th! And so on and on...
Time and age are only a number.
The state of mind that is 2006 Talons will live on.
