About this Event
This is the third session of a five-part series: Maximizing Board Effectiveness Through all Stages of the Nonprofit Life Cycle. You do not need to attend all five sessions, but each session will build on content from the previous sessions. This series is ideal for present board members and leadership staff, as well as those who are curious to learn more.
A key function of a nonprofit board is to define the vision, strategic goals, and measurements of success for an organization. This is often easier said than done and requires creating the conditions for organizational alignment, clarified roles, and shared goals between board and staff.

- Explore the importance of having shared goals
- Learn about tools to clarify the roles of the board and staff as they work toward the vision
- Develop an understanding of the power of leveraging an organization’s narrative and strategic direction for fundraising.
