Ali Stoner joins us in conversation with Peter Gilchrist to launch her new cookbook, Scran, described by Sam Heughan as "an invitation into Scotland's heart".
Ali Stoner, also known across social media as @rovinghaggis, delivers over 100 traditional and nostalgic Scottish recipes through a modern lens in Scran, from old favourites like millionaire shortbread to more modern Scottish classics like macaroni pie, all designed to be cooked at home.
Ali will be talking to Peter Gilchrist, Scotland’s foremost food historian, with a focus on working-class food and ancient feasting, about the changing face of food in Scotland, the joys of traditional home cooking, and bringing traditional fare into modern diets, before signing copies of her book.
