Alford 40s Event Fundraiser - Friday Vintage Dance

The Alford 40s event was due to return this year, but sadly it was not to be. However, we're still hosting a vintage dance and the profit will be used to help arrange next year's event. There will be live music from Hep N' Swingin' Vintage Dance Band. They will play songs from the 20s to the early 50s, all arranged for dancing. DJ Dr Swing will ensure there's plenty of music from the era, too. You can expect to hear music from Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Louis Jordan, and Artie Shaw. Dancers will be able to Lindy Hop and stroll as well as enjoying social ballroom and some sequence dances.
The Corn Exchange bar will be open to keep you in refreshments. We are hoping that you'll join us in donning vintage style or smart attire to help us create the atmosphere.
After paying the band, all monies received will be used to support the Alford 40s event. Tickets can be obtained from Steve Mason, either in person, or by calling him on 07538 065263.
