Celebrate Pride month with the Foxes!
Flying Foxes Studio is opening its doors for a full day of Aerial, Burlesque, Stretch and Pole, honouring the foundations that the studio was built on.
This event is open to EVERYONE.
Each workshop: £12.50

-10am-11am: LIVE LOVE HOOP
Join us for a vibrant Pride Month aerial hoop workshop with Ema at Flying Foxes, where movement and self-expression come together in the air.
This workshop is all about celebrating individuality and joy through aerial hoop. Under Ema’s guidance, you’ll explore flowing sequences, spins, and poses that build strength and confidence while staying accessible to all levels, from complete beginners to those with more experience. The focus is less on “getting it perfect” and more on finding your own style, playing with shapes, and enjoying the sensation of moving weightlessly.
In honour of Pride Month, the space is intentionally welcoming and affirming, with a strong emphasis on creativity, body positivity, and community. Expect an uplifting atmosphere, and plenty of encouragement as you experiment with movement in ways that feel authentic to you.
By the end of the session, you’ll not only have learned a short aerial hoop sequence, but also shared in a collective experience that celebrates freedom, expression, and a bit of playful aerial magic.

Step into a bold and playful Pride Month special with the “Glam and Grind” burlesque workshop at Flying Foxes, led by the dazzling Crystal Valentine.
This workshop is a celebration of confidence, performance, and unapologetic self-expression. “Glam and Grind” blends classic burlesque flair with modern edge: think attitude, rhythm, and storytelling through movement. Crystal Valentine brings her signature charisma and expertise to guide you through playful choreography, empowering walks, poses, and tease-based performance techniques designed to help you own the room (and the stage).
Expect a fun, welcoming Pride Month atmosphere where glamour meets grit. You’ll explore how to build presence, work with musicality, and express personality through stylised movement, whether you’re brand new to burlesque or already have performance experience. The focus is on enjoyment, confidence-building, and embracing whatever makes your movement uniquely yours.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a short routine, a boost of stage-ready energy, and a fresh sense of freedom in how you move and present yourself. It’s cheeky, empowering, and made for celebrating identity, joy, and performance in all its forms.

Get ready for a powerful Pride Month session with “Bendy Babes: Backbends” Workshop at Flying Foxes, led by Dion.
This is a high-intensity flexibility and backbend-focused stretch class designed for those who want to safely push their range of motion while building real strength and control. Dion guides you through a structured warm-up that prepares the spine, shoulders, and hips for deeper work, followed by progressive drills that break down strong, expressive backbends step by step.
Expect an energising pace and a mix of active flexibility training, conditioning, and deep stretch techniques. Rather than passive stretching alone, the focus is on developing stability through strength, so your shapes feel powerful, supported, and sustainable. Options are given throughout, making the class accessible to experienced movers while still challenging those looking to level up.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave feeling open, strong, and more connected to your backbend practice, along with a renewed sense of pride in what your body can do.

-2:30-3:30PM: TWO-GETHER BEND AND BLEND
Celebrate Pride Month with “Two-gether: Bend & Blend” at Flying Foxes, a high-intensity, beginner-friendly workshop led by Dion and Amy.
This unique split-format session combines structured flexibility training and static pole work, with a strong focus on how the two disciplines directly connect. Rather than treating stretching and pole as separate parts of the class, Dion and Amy work in tandem so that everything you develop in the stretch section translates meaningfully into the pole section.
Dion leads the flexibility training with an emphasis on active mobility, strength through range, and safe progressions. Each drill is chosen with intention, building the exact shapes, lines, and control needed for what comes next on the pole, so you understand not just how to stretch, but why it matters in movement.
Amy then guides the static pole section, focusing on foundational shapes and strength-based holds. You’ll take the mobility and control developed with Dion and apply it directly to the pole, exploring clean lines, supported positions, and strong static shapes. The emphasis is on connection, control, and embodiment rather than flow or spins, with modifications available so everyone can work at their own intensity.
Throughout the workshop, Dion and Amy collaborate closely, offering cues that link flexibility to execution so you can feel how range of motion, strength, and alignment come together in real time.
In celebration of Pride Month, the atmosphere is inclusive, expressive, and encouraging for you to explore movement with curiosity and confidence while celebrating what your body can do.

Celebrate Pride Month with “Queen: Slay & Sashay” at Flying Foxes, a bold and unapologetic heels-on-pole workshop led by Amy.
This class is all about filthy flow, confidence, and performance presence, bringing together heels work and pole in a way that feels expressive, playful, and a little bit dangerous in the best way. Amy guides you through a routine that blends grounded heels movement with static pole shapes and transitions, focusing on control, attitude, and clean execution rather than speed or tricks.
You’ll explore how to move in heels around the pole, using it as a partner for balance, shapes, and stylised poses. Expect strong emphasis on body awareness, weight placement, and fluid transitions between floor-based movement and static pole holds. Everything is broken down step by step so you can feel stable, confident, and expressive at every stage.
The vibe is high-energy, encouraging you to take up space, play with character, and explore your own version of bold, sensual movement in a supportive environment. Whether you’re new to heels or experienced, options are given so you can push your edge safely while still having fun.
By the end of the session, you’ll have learned a short heels-on-pole routine and left with sharper control, stronger presence, and a liberated sense of performance confidence.

Celebrate Pride Month with a Pole, Hoop & Burlesque Mini Photoshoot at Flying Foxes—a fun, low-pressure session designed to capture your movement, personality, and performance energy in a relaxed and supportive setting.
This is a casual studio photoshoot, open to all levels and all styles, whether you want to explore pole, aerial hoop, or burlesque-inspired poses. It’s all about expression over perfection—giving you space to play with shapes, moods, and character while capturing moments that feel authentic to you.
You’ll be guided through simple posing ideas and transitions to help you find strong lines, flattering angles, and expressive shapes across different apparatus. Expect plenty of encouragement, time to experiment, and the freedom to switch between soft, playful, bold, or dramatic energy depending on how you feel in the moment.
In true Pride Month spirit, the atmosphere is inclusive, celebratory, and body-positive, encouraging you to take up space and enjoy being seen exactly as you are.
You’ll leave with a selection of fun, self-shot or casually captured images that reflect your movement, confidence, and creativity, more like a memory of your experience than a formal shoot, and a celebration of your Pride in motion.
