Alberta Society of Radiologists – 2025 Annual Scientific Conference

Join us at the Alberta Society of Radiologists' 2025 Annual Scientific Conference – RAD TO THE BONE, focused on MSK radiology, at the breathtaking location of the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta.

This conference has been submitted for accreditation through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

Conference Learning Objectives:

After attending the conference, participants will be able to:

• Accurately assess images of challenging MSK concerns for diagnosis and treatment, including particular focus on axSpA.
• Critique the advantages and disadvantages of DI modalities for MSK radiology.
• Identify key imaging findings that are surgically relevant and formulate appropriate communication in reports.
• Identify the legal and ethical considerations inherent in consent for MSK imaging and interventions.
• Prevent MSK injuries in radiology environments through ergonomic modification.

• Please note that your registration includes access to all sessions and meals with the exception of the Gala. *Gala tickets are limited and must be added on as a separate ticket when you register. Gala tickets are intended for conference registrants and their guests.

Food & Beverage:

• The Friday reception will include light appetizers and two drink tickets. A cash bar will be available.
• Breakfast will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday.
• Light wellness breaks will be provided throughout the day on Saturday, along with a lunch buffet.
• The Saturday Gala will include a plated three-course meal and table wine. A cash bar will be available.
• Please note that vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options can be made available for all meals.

Dress Code:

• Business casual for conference sessions. Cocktail attire for the Gala.

Parking:

• Parking is available at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel at a daily rate of $35 ($49 for valet).

Accommodations:

• The Alberta Society of Radiologists has secured discounted room rates at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, starting at $449. Please note that you are responsible for booking your own room and our discounted room block is only available until October 7th, 2025. Booking links will be provided in the confirmation email you will receive from Eventbrite once you complete your registration.

Registration Fees:

• Registration is $989 for ASR members and $1,199 for non-members.
• We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express). E-transfers and e-payment sites like PayPal are not available. Payment must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and all fees are subject to GST.

Guests:

• Guests may attend the Welcome Reception and the Gala; however, please note that all sessions and events are 18+.
• The Guest Gala ticket is separate from the regular Gala ticket. If you are on mobile, you may have to scroll down in the tickets to see this.

Credits:

• Certificates of attendance will be emailed to attendees after the conference. Please indicate that you would like to receive one when registering.

Photo Release:

• By registering for and attending the event, event attendees consent to filming, photography, and sound recordings.

Cancellation & Ticket Transfers:

• If you are no longer able to attend, please submit your cancellation via email to the event coordinator at [email protected]. Please note that refunds will not be issued for cancellations and all tickets are non-transferrable.
• If you've booked accommodations at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, you will need to contact them directly for cancellations. Please note their policy states no refunds will be issued after October 7th, 2025.
