Welcome to our mahi! Join us in our planting day in the newly fenced Albert Gorge Restoration area. We have 3,000 trees to plant which will be a a great start to restoration of the native forest in this beautiful valley.
Meet on the Mt Vernon Farm at the start of the Gorge Track, we'll stick a flag up so you won't miss us and there will be a few people at the bottom in hi vis who will point you in the right direction. You can walk up from Albert Tce or via the Crescent to the start of the Farm Track.
Bring sturdy shoes, gloves and a spade if you have one. Don't worry if you don't, we have plenty of spares.
We'll supply the trees, all laid out where they need to go, along with instruction for anyone planting for the first time. Drinking water will be available on site and cookies when you finish.
Many hands make light work so bring friends and family for a fun morning doing great work that will make a difference for generations
