We’re celebrating Alaska Public Gardens Day by offering admission by donation on Saturday, May 23rd! Pay what you can, or enjoy a free visit to the Garden!Stop by for a guided tour along the Verna Pratt Wildflower Trail from with the Wildflower Garden Club of Alaska! Tours are ongoing from 10:00am - 2:00pm (no registration necessary; included with admission).
This trail has been maintained by the Wildflower Garden Club of Alaska for more than 30 years and was renamed in 2021 to honor Verna Pratt, an Alaska botanist, gardening expert, and native plant enthusiast 🌱
The Alaska Rock Garden Society will also be onsite selling hardy plants suitable for rock gardens in our climate!
