Journey into the wild heart of Alaska on this women’s-only adventure through Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks. From hiking alpine ridges and exploring the Matanuska Glacier to sea kayaking among whales and watching massive glaciers calve into the sea, every day offers unforgettable moments of awe and connection. Guided by experienced female naturalists and surrounded by a supportive group of like-minded women, you’ll share laughter, discovery, and empowerment against the backdrop of Alaska’s most iconic landscapes. This is more than a trip—it’s an invitation to challenge yourself, embrace adventure, and create lifelong friendships in the last frontier.

Booking Deadline: April 10, 2026. All reservations much be secured by this date. After the deadline, availability cannot be guaranteed and pricing is subject to change. We strongly recommend finalizing your booking well in advance of the deadline to ensure your spot on this trip.

Day 1: Welcome to the Alaska!
Arrive to Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) by mid afternoon where you will be met by your female guide, trip host and fellow travelers.
Relax on a 2 hour scenic drive as you make your make to Denali National Park.
We’ll check in and have a little time to unwind. Before dinner, we’ll take an evening stroll along the Nanana River.
Enjoy a welcome dinner tonight with your fellow travelers as you share your excitement for the week ahead.
Meals: Dinner

Day 2: Denali National Park & Sled dogs
Enjoy an early breakfast before we make our way to Denail National Park.
Enjoy a moderate 9.5 mile hike along Triple Lakes with vistas of rivers, lakes, and the stunning mountains around you.
Upon arriving at the Denail Visitor Center, we’ll catch the bus to the Sled Dog center where we will get a live demonstration of this traditional mode of travel in Alaska.
Tonight visit a local brewery for a delicious group dinner.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Triple Lakes Hike: Moderate, 9.5 miles roundtrip, 2,000 feet elevation gain

Day 3: Denali State Park - Hike Curry Ridge
Enjoy a warm cup of coffee and breakfast before packing up and checking out. Today we make our way south towards the town Sutton.
After about 1.5 hours, we will stop at Denali State Park to hike Curry Ridge Trail where the views of the Alaska Range and Denali are sure to leave you speechless.
After the hike, relax on our 2 hour drive to Sutton where we will check in to our accommodations for the evening.
Enjoy dinner with the group before snuggling in to bed for the evening.

Curry Ridge Hike: Moderate, 6.0 miles roundtrip, 1,,100 feet elevation gain

Day 4: Glacier hike - On to Seward
Enjoy breakfast and pack your bags before checking out.
Today’s adventure includes a hike on the Matanuska glacier. You’ll spend the morning exploring basal and blue ice learning about the history and glaciology of the Matanuska Valley.
Next we make our way to Seward where will check into a charming yurt village for the evening.
Unwind from your day’s adventure as your guides prepare a home cooked meal for the group to enjoy together.

Manatuska Glacier Trail: Easy , 3 miles round trip, 127 feet elevation gain.

Day 5: sea kayaking & Ice Calving
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before your thrilling adventure today.
Hop on a water taxi to Aialik Bay. On the ride we will look for wildlife like harbor seals, mountain goats, sea otters and more.
After we arrive, we’ll get suited up for a chance to kayak near Kenai Fjords National Park’s largest and most actively calving glacier.
Enjoy the rest of the day to settle in, relax by the pool and enjoy the views.
Dinner is at the lodge at your leisure this evening.

Day 6: harding ice field - Kenai Fjords National Park
Savor a delicious breakfast and fuel up for today’s adventure.
Today’s adventure is tackling the Harding Icefield Trail in Kenai Fjords National Park. This trail passes through several climatic zones and rewards you with views overlooking the nearly 700 square mile Harding Icefield, the largest in the US!
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Harding Icefield Trail: Challenging Hike: 8.6 miles roundtrip, 3,200 elevation gain.

Day 7: Goodbye Alaska!
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before packing your bags and checking out.
A group transfer to the airport will be provided to Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) in Anchorage. Flights should be planned for mid to late afternoon.

Cost
$5,395 USD double occupancy.
Single occupancy is not available on this trip.
If you are traveling solo, you will be assigned a roommate upon request. Rooms are assigned on a first come basis.
A deposit is due at booking to hold your spot with regular monthly payments. Additional payments may be applied to the trip balance prior to payment due dates.

Inclusions
• 7 days/6 nights accommodation in cabins and lodge B&Bs
• One private group airport transfer on arrival day from Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) to accommodations in Denali National Park (2 hour drive).
• One private group airport transfer to the Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) on departure day (2 hour 15 minute drive).
• All transportation between locations and parks as noted in the itinerary.
• All park entry fees, taxes, etc.
• All meals are included, in total this is 6 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 6 dinners.
• Female naturalist guides/drivers with you for the duration of the trip (6:1 guide ratio).
• Snowshoe rentals for Harding Icefield.
• Guided hike (gear provided) on the Matanuska glacier.
• Guided hikes in Denali National Park and Kenai Fjords National Park.
• Opportunities to spot wildlife such as mountain goats, sea otters, whales, bears, moose and more.
•Water taxi to Aialik Bay in Kenai Fjords National Park and kayak rental.
• Trip checklists, detailed packing list, training guide, and pre-travel support provided in a private Facebook and/or WhatsApp group
• Pre-trip Q&A Zoom call to meet your fellow travelers, trip hosts and ask any questions
• WWE Swag to make your heart happy!
• Small group; maximum of 12 women + your WWE trip host and up to 2 naturalist guides in Alaska

Exclusions
• Flight to Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) on arrival day.
• Departure flight from Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC).
• Tips and gratuity for guides, drivers, hotel staff, etc. The value of the tip is at the discretion of the client.
• Airport transfers outside of designated times and meeting locations.
• Local transportation outside of times designated for excursions and tours.
• Alcohol, additional beverages, snacks, and meals as noted above.
• Any additional excursions or activities not included in the above itinerary.
• Visa and entry requirements as applicable.
• Vaccines, immunizations or any pre-travel medical expenses such as Covid-19 testing.
• Travelers insurance to cover medical expenses while traveling abroad (proof of insurance required).
• Personal expenses not included in the itinerary such as additional accommodations, transportation, meals, souvenirs, etc.

Meals
All meals will be provided as noted in the itinerary. Please reach out to the trip host after booking if you have any food allergies/sensitivities. We always do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions but cannot make any guarantees.

Trip Confirmation
This trip requires a minimum number of women to register in order for it to be confirmed. Once the trip reaches the minimum participant number, you will receive a trip confirmation email and a link to be added a private Facebook group just for trip guests. In this group further trip details will be provided along with pre-travel support. Please let us know if you do not have or use Facebook.

Cancellation Policy
Please see our Terms of Service.
All deposits are non-refundable at the time of booking, but may be transferable if done so within the timeframe outlined in the Terms of Service.
Once a trip has been confirmed (no matter the booking or trip timeline), the deposit is both non-refundable and non-transferable. Please make sure you are purchasing adequate travel insurance at the time of booking to ensure you are covered in case you need to cancel.
Please note: some of our trips have a non-refundable fee that will be stated in the trip description. Please make sure to refer to the full Terms of Service to make sure you understand fully the Cancellation Policy of each trip.

Travel insurance
Travel (and medical) insurance is required for anyone traveling on a Women Who Explore adventure. Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. Your insurance policy should also include specific Covid-19 cover, including cancellation and curtailment cover if you or a close relative are diagnosed with Covid-19.
