Alaska Conference for Writers + Illustrators

Join the Alaska Writers Guild, the Alaska Romance Writers (ARW) and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWIAK) as well as the University of Alaska Anchorage's Department of Writing for our annual fall conference of all things writing and illustrating! Together, we bring you agents, editors, and authors from across the country to service writers and illustrators at every stage of their careers and creative processes.
The full conference runs all day Saturday, September 19 with optional workshops and roundtable manuscript reviews on Friday, September 18 at the University of Alaska, Anchorage Administration & Humanities Building.
Early registration starts at only $175 for members of AWG, ARW, and SCBWI, or $195 for non-members. One-on-one manuscript reviews close Saturday, August 29. University of Alaska and APU students and faculty get a special discount.
