2026 Improving Lives Conference
About this Event
It is the duty of the Trust to provide leadership in the advocacy, planning, implementing, and funding of services and programs that improve the lives and circumstances of Trust beneficiaries. The Improving Lives Conference will meaningfully address behavioral health systems across Trust beneficiary groups and strengthen Alaska’s continuum of care.
Building on the momentum of past events, the conference will once again bring together leaders, providers, advocates, and stakeholders from across Alaska to share knowledge, explore innovative practices, and build partnerships in support of Trust beneficiaries. Attendees can expect engaging sessions, meaningful dialogue, and opportunities to connect around solutions that improve access, outcomes, and quality of life for Alaskans served by the mental health and disability care system.
This year’s event will bring together leaders, practitioners, and community partners to explore forward-thinking approaches to improving health outcomes across the state. Through shared learning and collaboration, participants will engage with strategies designed to strengthen systems of care and better support Alaskans at every stage of life.
This year’s event will focus on three key themes:
- Leveraging Innovation and Change: transforming beneficiary health in Alaska
- Whole Person Care: behavioral health and disability services integration and coordination
- Upstream and Downstream: the importance of prevention, intervention, and ongoing supports for wellbeing
