Wakefielder Alasdair Gillis steps front and centre with a recording project featuring his original music. Four Miles Deep is a collection of songs exploring themes that mine history and the heart, while wrapped in a sonic blanket of horns, strings and electric guitar pedals. Alasdair is honoured to have some of the region’s finest instrumentalists - Bruce Cawdron (Esmerine), James Stephens (JIIG; Ecosse), and Greg Stone (Stone Age Man) - joining him for this special album launch event.
