The Paul Weber Band is taking their "200 Years of Ottawa/Bytown and the Valley" show on the road. Join us, Sunday, April 26th @ 2PM, we will be performing at the renowned Black Sheep Inn. The Paul Weber Band is an Ottawa-based, four-person, bilingual band that performs high-energy folk tunes. Their shows are a voyage into community stories—famous bouncer, tales about drag queens, local tragedies, valley legends, ghost trains and the struggles of the Francophone community (to name a few of the topics they cover). Their most recent album, Ghost Beer Train is full of stuff that doesn’t always make it into the history books.
Their music combines the emotional rawness of Bruce Springsteen with the locally-themed songs of Stompin’ Tom, and the historic sagas of Gordon Lightfoot, all wrapped in lovely harmonies.
