Alamance County and the Alamance Chamber have launched a joint planning initiative to develop a Smart Growth and Economic Development Plan. The result will be a long-range growth and development plan that the county, municipalities, and chamber can work on together. Creative Economic Development Consulting has been engaged to facilitate the planning process. The consulting team will solicit input from county, chamber, municipal, business, education, and community leaders on a SWOT analysis, future vision, and long term goals.
