The Art of Cueing - CYT Yoga Workshop

Step into your role as a teacher with more clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
This workshop is all about how you communicate, what you say, how you say it, and how it lands with your students. We’ll explore the essentials of clear verbal cueing, when and how to demonstrate effectively, and how to develop a teaching voice that feels natural to you.
You’ll learn how to use your voice with intention, finding the right balance of pitch, tone, and volume to create a class environment that feels steady, supportive, and engaging. We’ll also look at how your words, timing, and presence can either create confusion or build trust and connection in the room.
Expect a mix of practice, feedback, and real teaching scenarios so you can refine your skills in a way that feels practical and immediately applicable. Whether you’re new to teaching or looking to grow, this workshop will help you communicate more clearly and teach with greater confidence.
Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for participation.
*This workshop is part of our Yoga Teacher Training program but is open to all teachers; however, to support the training environment, studio doors may open only a few minutes before the start time, and the instructor along with YTT students may already be in the room.
