Al Matcott brings his Forever Band to The Retreat Hotel for an evening of caterwauling guitars, engrossing storytelling and blistering rhythms.
His first album 'Summer's Coming' was a full-throated howl against the forces dooming the world to climate disaster.
Matcott's upcoming second album focuses his ire on the wasteland of our digital lives, but also features some of his most personal tunes - with some expanded and more lush sonic tones.

Coming along for the ride is Cahill Kelly and the Encounters. Hailing from Far North Queensland via a detour through '60s and '70s Laurel Canyon psychedelic singer-songwriter rawk 'nd rawl. Slick tunes, slicker button-down long-sleeves.
Also bringing the swagger is Aunty Blue whose new single 'Follow' just dropped and has that slide guitar like 200kms of open road sunset probably a beach when you get there as well kinda thing going on.
