Airway and Critical Care Procedure Cadaver Lab

For providers interested in receiving procedural training, an optional hands-on cadaver lab is available. This hands-on lab will focus on airway management, intubation, surgical airways, need decompression, finger thoracostomy, chest tube insertion, and intraosseous insertion. Learners can expect a 4:1 student to instructor ratio. Over the 3-hour course learners will have the opportunity to practice direct and video laryngoscopy on at least 2 cadavers followed by a rotation of skills taught by highly trained APP lab faculty. All learners must wear scrubs. The Critical Care ACNP/PA Cadaver Lab is located at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
