Air Ambulance Memorial Dinner

Join us for a special evening of remembrance, community and generosity at the Air ambulance Charity Dinner in Memory of Joe Abbess.
About this Event

This event has been created in memory of student Joe Abbess and to honour the incredible emergency services who responded during his medical emergency and supported his family following his tragic loss.

Guests will enjoy a three-course, sit-down dinner, prepared and served by a collective of Joe’s peers, past and present teachers, employers, and Hospitality students. The menu will showcase locally sourced ingredients from Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Dorset, celebrating both regional produce and the strength of the hospitality community that supported Joe throughout his journey.

Tickets are £55 per person, with all proceeds split equally between the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance—the two services that attended Joe’s emergency and continued to support his family during an unimaginably difficult time.

This memorial dinner is not only a celebration of Joe’s life, but also a powerful example of a community coming together to support two life‑saving charities that are there for us when we need them most.
