'Aims and Arrows' Archery Class and Picnic

Join us for an afternoon of archery, fresh air, and playtime in one of the most beautiful parks in the city.
We’ll begin with a guided introduction to archery led by Lauren Carpenter - learning the basics, trying a few shots, and not taking ourselves too seriously in the process. Make space for an afternoon of aim, laughter, and meeting new, active friends.

Archery has this quiet magic to it. You focus, you breathe, you release… and then you either hit the target or absolutely don’t - and somehow both are equally fun.

Blankets out, cheese gets passed around, and the afternoon turns into that easy, unhurried kind of hang where conversations flow and new friendships form without trying too hard.

Let's celebrate being outside, enjoying new activities, and spending time with people who also said yes to something a little different.

Come solo or bring a friend - you’ll leave with more.

About your instructor: Lauren Carpengter has been teaching fitness for 9 years and is a Certified Archery Instructor, 500-hour E-RYT, Pre/Postnatal Performance Training Specialist, and Kids Yoga. Her background also includes being a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

Lauren believes that one of the most important parts of any well-being journey is this: you should enjoy it.

What to bring:

• Comfortable clothes to move in, a sun hat, and layers

• A picnic blanket

• Your favorite cheese/ snacks to share

Location: is located in the far-west end of the park, specifically at 47th Avenue and Fulton Street.

Arrivals: 1:30p-2p to settle in
