BFC is excited to announce our first comp for 2026.
This competition is run under AIDA rules, featuring two events, DYN (any dynamic discipline) and STA (static) on Sunday, 8th of March.
The briefing will take place on Saturday evening via ZOOM

Event times:
STA from 9 am - 1 pm
DYN from 2pm - 6pm

The cost for registration (including pool entry) is
$60 per event, $100 for both events, $40 per event for newcomers (0 or 1 previous competitions).

Terms & Conditions:
*All divers must be a member of an AIDA National
*All divers must present on the day of the event prior to check-in, or by submitting online to AIDA a valid passport or proof of nationality. If you wish to compete for a country other than australia you will need to be an active member of the AIDA national of this country!
*All divers must be either a member of an AFA-affiliated club having completed a safety induction or be a certified freediver.
*All divers must be current members of the AFA (club membership or non-affiliated). Follow this link to become a member: https://australianfreediving.org/membership/
*All divers must present before check-in a signed “medical certificate of non-contraindication to freediving” written in English. The certificate must be signed and dated by a medical doctor. It may not be older than one year, and an athlete may not sign their own certificate. Furthermore, the contact details of the doctor must be present on the form.

Due to limited starts available for each event, athletes must register AND complete payment by 5pm Sunday, 1st of March.
