AI FOR NONPROFITS WORKSHOP: From Mission to Message
Building an Organization Brain for stronger storytelling, donor engagement, content creation, and grant readiness
This next-step workshop will introduce nonprofit leaders and teams to a practical framework for putting AI to work across their organizations:
• Content: What AI knows about the organization
• Context: How AI should interpret and use that knowledge
• Skills: Repeatable tasks and workflows AI can perform
• Counsel: Analysis and recommendations that support better human decisions
Participants will learn how to begin building an Organization Brain containing their mission, programs, outcomes, community data, approved narratives, leadership qualifications, partnerships, policies, brand voice, visual assets, and funding history. This can help reduce duplicated work while improving consistency across donor communications, fundraising appeals, program descriptions, social media, newsletters, board materials, and grant applications.
We will demonstrate how AI can use an organization’s approved content, context, voice, and creative assets to develop consistent communications across multiple platforms. Participants will see how one source, such as a program report, interview, event, video, or impact story, can be responsibly repurposed into social media posts, donor emails, newsletter content, fundraising messages, program descriptions, and other communications without losing the organization’s authentic voice.
We will also demonstrate how AI can review a NOFO, RFP, RFQ, or other funding opportunity; compare the requirements with an organization’s approved information; identify eligibility requirements and missing documentation; and recommend whether the organization should pursue, conditionally pursue, or decline the opportunity.
Participants will leave with an Organization Brain starter structure, reusable AI skill templates, a funding-opportunity qualification framework, a content-repurposing workflow, and a practical implementation plan.
