AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course

In this three hour, video-based, hands-on instructor-led course, you will be taught critical skills including how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, heart attack, seizure, shock, burns, and how to respond to other first aid emergencies.

Upon completion of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid course completion card that is valid for two years. The Heartsaver First Aid Course provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel.

​This course is designed for the general community and is applicable to basic emergency medical care in a wide variety of situations.​​ We recommend this course to those assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer's efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees, security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals who want or need First Aid Training.
