Finesse your beast mode! This workshop covers the basics of AGILE BEAST movement training and expands into more advanced scenarios, sequences and partner exercises.

Modern understandings of functional anatomy and biomechanics will be applied to ancient, evolutionary movement patterns: crawl & climb, walk & run, jump & throw. In Social Animals we will use each other to add resistance and complexity to our own dynamic strength training. We will discuss joint centration, myofascial networks, purpose-driven exercise, and more, making these concepts relevant to how we move and organize our own bodies.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Sebastian Grubb is an award-winning movement coach and dance artist based in California. He started his twin careers as a fitness trainer and professional contemporary dancer in 2006, became a certified Axis Syllabus teacher in 2011, and birthed AGILE BEAST in 2018. A.B. combines fitness training, contact dance, corrective exercise and biomechanics into an updated exercise platform for modern human primates.
