Stanford Health Care Trauma & Injury Prevention Program is partnering with the local California Highway Patrol to offer a FREE traffic safety program for mature drivers, 65 years of age and older. The Age Well, Drive Smart program is designed to provide older adult drivers with the keys to drive safer and longer in their community. This class is co-presented by a CHP officer and CHP Senior Volunteers. The curriculum addresses the following topics:
• Aging and its effects on safe driving
• Maintaining good physical health
• Developing smart driving strategies
• Conducting self-assessment and more.
