We'll define what a project is and how it differs from operations. You’ll learn the core concepts of project management and the differences between project, program, and portfolio management.
Module 2: Overview of the Project Management Environment
This module covers the key factors influencing projects, including internal and external Enterprise Environmental Factors and Organizational Process Assets. We'll also examine how various Organizational Systems affect a project.
Module 3: The Role of the Project Manager
We’ll define the Project Manager's role and their broad sphere of influence. You’ll learn about the necessary competencies for success and the critical function of performing integration.


Day 2

Day 2: The Core Project Processes

Info: Module 4: Project Integration Management
Learn how to Develop the Project Charter and Project Management Plan. We’ll also cover Directing and Managing Project Work, Managing Project Knowledge, Integrated Change Control, and Closing a Project or Phase.
