Learn lots of skills whilst creating this delightful cupcake platter including simple modelling, moulds, colouring, texturing and more.We will bake you 6 cupcakes which you will then decorate with a range of afternoon tea themed designs . The skills learnt are suitable not only for cupcakes but also cookies and celebration cakes. We will explain each stage step by step so whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced cake decorator looking for new ideas you will go home inspired and delighted.
How to:
- use texture mats
- use crimpers
- use moulds
- use colour to best effect in cake decorating including adding dust colours
- use the PME fun fonts including spacing of messages
- use a selection of modelling tools.
- use piping gel to create 'tea' and 'jam'
- create a flat cupcake topper
- pipe a rose swirl
- freeze your cupcakes if you wish to keep them for a later date.
Plus: transportation, storage, advance preparation, time management and other cake practicalities.
