Learn how to make the perfect pure white vanilla frosting, how to fill a piping bag - and a range of basic piping styles.
Created in response to many requests for help with basic piping. The workshop begins with a demonstration of how to make the perfect pure white vanilla frosting. Moving on, you will learn how to fill a piping bag (without making a mess!) and a range of piping styles including a Mr Whippy swirl, a French swirl, rose swirls in different styles, a butterfly bun, piped bulbs, surprise inside and more.
Take home a box of 12 delicious cupcakes along with your new skills.
Demonstration - how to make pure white vanilla frosting.
Tutorial - the difference between frosting/ buttercream, keeping times, storage.
How to:
- fill a piping bag (without getting in a mess!)
- refill a piping bag
- use an adapter/ coupler
- pipe a surprise inside
- make a butterfly jam (with a surprise filling)
- pipe a Mr Whippy swirl
- pipe a French swirl
- pipe a ruffled swirl
