My very first Grief Café at Fika Coffee Liverpool earlier this month was such a beautiful, gentle space.
There’s something incredibly powerful about sitting at a table with people who get it.
No fixing.
No awkward silences.
No rushing anyone through their story.
Just warmth, honesty, and the quiet relief of not feeling alone.
I left feeling so grateful - and so sure that this is exactly why I do this work.
I’m so looking forward to holding the next one on Monday 2nd March at Fika in Liverpool.

It’s a safe, cosy space to talk about grief - or just listen.
To say the person’s name out loud.
To feel your feelings without worrying you’re ‘too much.’
To sit with a drink and be around others navigating loss too.
You can come exactly as you are.
Sad. Overwhelmed. Numb. Chatty. Quiet.
There is space for all of it 🧡
