Well Together: Women

This group meeting is facilitated by Sahir House, Liverpool's largest & oldest LGBTQ+ and HIV support charity.

The meetings take place on the third Tuesday of the month in Liverpool City Centre.

The support group covers the Liverpool City Region, and offers a safe and friendly space for women living with HIV.
We understand that childcare can be a barrier to accessing services, so children under 5 can come along; however, they remain the responsibility of the parent.

The aim of the group is to provide a safe, confidential space for women to;

• share experiences of living with HIV
• discuss hopes, dreams & concerns of living with HIV
• provide emotional support; and build friendships and have fun together.
  We sometimes invite professionals to the group to discuss things like developments in Medic*tion, benefit advice, women’s health etc.

The meeting runs from 11am - 1pm.

Due to limited capacity, we ask those who would like to attend in person to book a place via Eventbrite. There will be a maximum of 10 attendees.

This allows for a safe and manageable group session, creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for those attending.

Once we have received a completed referral form, it will be allocated to the relevant support service waiting lists. When we reach your name, a member of the team to contact you to book you in for a registration appointment.

If you book and then find you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place.
