Welcome to the very first AfterGlow Bay of Islands Youth RAVE! Held once a month on a Friday, at the Packhouse Night Market, this is a SOBER community youth event open to all youth aged between 13-18years in the Bay of Islands region.
We envision bringing together different schools as well as youth who are homeschooled or in work. This is a strictly YOUTH ONLY event, with 15 and under needing to be accompanied by a parent or Guardian.
As a parent/guardian you can have up to three youth under your care, but no more than that. Over three youth, there will need to be another parent. It is expected that you will enjoy the Night Market and be nearby, but we do want to give some space to Youth to enjoy the rave without adults in the space at all times.
16+ are being trusted to respect this space and to help to keep it safe and running so these can be ongoing events. There will be adult security present.
Here is the FLOW: You can arrive between 6-630PM
First Set - Ages 13-15years. $10 tickets
DOORS OPEN: 6:30pm sharp, with DJ Alchemy kicking us off.
8PM - 9PM Live Youth Band plays - for our first one, we have local youth band Apprehension Engine playing for this first one.
Second Set - STRICTLY 16-18years. $15 tickets - DJ Alchemy ramps it up into the evening for a 2hr RAVE set featuring EDM, House, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Liquid - to get you raving hard.
Come to let off stem on the dancefloor, come to connect with your mates and make new ones, come to revel in LOUD beats and come to support youth bands!
There will also be affordable options for food and drink, there is an opportunity for youth to provide food with their own food stall. Please get in touch to discuss this.

Limited number of Door Sales.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a strictly SOBER + Vape FREE space, no intoxication or vape use will be tolerated, same goes for antisocial behaviors. You will be warned once if seen vaping, then asked to leave after that warning. No refund on your tickets.
If in any way at all intoxicated or seen to be carrying alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave immediately and blacklisted for the next three youth raves. You will be invited back to try again and to stick to the rules after three events have run.
Police presence will be there on occasion.
For the later set, 16+ there will be adult security on site, monitoring the toilet areas and other areas outside of the youth rave.
Please respect the Packhouse Night Market for allowing us to use this space.
The intention of this event is to provide SAFE, SOBER RAVE spaces once a month. PLEASE respect this so we can continue to enjoy this and to provide Bay of Islands youth with a space to come and rave once a month.
If you are into another way of partying then this isn't the space for you, but please, come and give it a chance!
It is possible to have a great time without substances and we truly believe in the power of music and dance to bring on the feel good vibes for all.

This event is for youth to get creative and have opportunities to help put on a fantastic, successful event every month. We are open to youth leading this and being a part of the creation!
