After School Art Club
Student Will Explore Various Mediums & Crafts
Sessions Held Mondays, 4:15 pm - 5 pm Ages 5 -10 years
This class is recommended for students 5-10 years old who are interested in having fun creating art and exploring various mediums. Experience not required, however an interest in the arts aids success. Age exceptions may be considered at the instructors discretion.
What to expect:
The class will explore different mediums and themes, for instance using pastels to create animal art, using watercolor for landscapes, etc. Additionally holiday or thematic ideas will be incorporated, for example pumpkins in October.
Description:
Students who love "everything art" will explore drawing, painting, pastels, and other various mediums while developing their personal skill set and talents. Self expression and creativity will be fostered and encouraged in our weekly projects.
This class is recommended for students 5-10 years old who are interested in having fun creating art and exploring various mediums.Classes are ongoing, meeting on Mondays from 4:15-5pm. Eight Sessions 10/19-12/14, No Class on 11/23.
Preregistration is needed. Students will register/ pay for each session individually. The session includes all art supplies and is $15 per class in the session and price is determined by the length of session. (Please note session dates and lengths may vary and sessions may begin and end on different dates and skip holiday weeks. )
Session rates will be prorated if joining the session late with instructor's approval.
Studio doors will open at 4:05pm, those arriving early will have sketching/drawing and or coloring prompts and new project instruction will begin at 4:15pm. Please be mindful that at times some projects will take more than one week to complete, so the number of completed projects may vary.

Some benefits of art classes Everyone has fun! Confidence and creativity is fostered! Artistic endeavors provide an emotional release and ease stress and anxiety. Young artists as well as analytical thinkers gain an opportunity to make connections to history and their current world as they exercise their creative side. They will be sharpening the mind through concept visualization which aids other academic areas. Fine arts develop motor skills and advanced hand-eye-coordination as artists learn to bring what they see in their minds to life.
At ARTS FOR ALL STUDIO we always embrace kindness, encourage friendships, and foster inventive problem solving, motor skills, and embracing everyone's uniqueness, abilities and talents.

Wear something to be “creative and messy” in, as all mediums are not easily washable. Art aprons are provided however they are not preferred by some artists and accidents happen.
All art supplies are provided by the studio. Students should bring a water bottle/drink. A snack is also suggested.
