After-Hours Paranormal Investigation at the Sun Inn, Beverley

Are you brave enough to join us for an exclusive investigation of one of East Riding of Yorkshire's oldest pubs?

Believed to be haunted and dating back to the 15th century, this ancient Grade II listed establishment stands at the crossroads of Beverley Minster, Beverley Friary, and historic Flemingate. Originally known as "The Tabard," it once served as a refuge for religious pilgrims visiting the town to pay homage at the tomb of John of Beverley in the Minster.

The Sun Inn is steeped in ghostly tales. Over the years, publicans have frequently described the eerie sensation of a presence or something brushing past them, only to find no one there. Reports of ghostly voices, an intense feeling of being watched, and an inexplicable sense of not belonging are common.

According to legend, the Sun Inn is a key point in the rumored secret underground passage linking Beverley Minster to various sites around town. Many believe the cellar is haunted, so much so that some refuse to venture down there alone.

You will hear a detailed history of the pub, along with all the tales and paranormal reports, before lights and and the start of the investigation.
You will get a chance to use some of our ghost hunting equipment, and work with our medium if you wish.

Places are limited, so early booking is advised.

Event starts at 10pm with a welcome recption.

Event will end at 2am.
Refreshments will be provided but please note the bar will not be open to any attendees of/and for the duration of this event.
