Afro- Sound Bath for Post Election Trauma

Black Womxn United is hosting a Post-Election Sound Bath and Healing Space for Black women and girls, Black trans women, and non-binary Black people. This election season has been intensely stressful, and we believe it’s essential to create a space for Black women to heal. Over the past four months, we have faced heightened levels of sexism, racial violence, and misogynoir, both online and in person, with few places to find respite.

Our event will provide restorative care, mental health support, nutritious food, and childcare. The focus is on helping Black women regulate their nervous systems, reduce stress, and lower blood pressure.

*Mats and pillows will be available but, we encourage everyone to bring their own.
